Lovely stay some little things missing Positive: Location and beds Negative: There was no microwave , no firewood and no wifi

Lacks basic facilities required for a comfortable stay Positive: The beds are quite comfortable and the property has a nice quirky charm to it. Negative: The property lacks the basic facilities expected when paying significant prices. Microwave - The kitchen lack a microwave, unsure why. Essential for making a quick breakfast or heating up kids food/bottles Internet - The internet did not work when we stayed at the property, their solution was to drop off a dongle I then had to setup. Once setup the internet was 4G and painfully slow. Free to air TV - There is no free to air TV at the property so you cannot watch the footy/news etc. There is an old Telstra box which has some dodgy internet TV channels which requires the painfully slow internet to work (see above). All of these issues are easily addressed but for having read the reviews they seem like they have been around for a long time. I would avoid this property unless you enjoy the Amish lifestyle!

Positive: The family enjoyed our couple of nights. First impression was underwhelming. The house when we drove up was covered in dust and cobwebs and also the verandah. Inside was pleasant but some parts could do with an update such as worn paint. An information booklet would be helpful and had trouble getting normal channels on the smart tv. All places we have stayed also have the coffee, tea, sugar sachets and little milks in the fridge which are great if you turn up late and want a cuppa. Maybe consider that as an extra touch. I would also recommend putting towel rails in the bathrooms. After showering there is nowhere to put them. The bed was very comfortable though.

A comfortable warm inviting home Positive: A lovely warm, inviting home that just needs a few extra things tweaked to make it a standout. The property doesn’t have a microwave, there was no tea or coffee, and the TV doesn’t have any free to air channels. These are things that can easily be fixed and would significantly improve the property. The wood heater also wasn’t working, but we knew about that before our arrival. Hopefully it gets fixed soon as we would love to stay again.

On the whole a pleasant and enjoyable weekend Positive: Garden could have been tidied up. House was comfortable but required some minor maintenance. Could not close the bathroom door for privacy. Several other doors and cupboards required maintenance as we experienced trouble either closing or opening. Couldn’t close the front gate and it tore away from the post it was mounted to. (Very heavy gate) could have been a disaster with small children playing near it. The house was comfortable, plenty of crockery and utensils. Comfortable bedding. No Microwave!
