River Lea Cottage

Positive: Spacious kitchen, dining, lounge area. Inside fairly clean Negative: I asked for 4 separate beds for 4 adult females, 3 with disabilities. third bedroom was locked and we could use this area. Mattress was taken off the top bunk and placed on the floor for one person and lounge was used to sleep on as a result. Outside and garden are requires a bit of work, lots of cobwebs, grass needed a mow and general tidy up. Hard to find as there are 3 areas with the same number. Rung manager for assistance to find the place and no reply.

Disappointing weekend Positive: Styled well. Good living area. Negative: Noise from traffic on road outside. The photos indicate it’s on a rural block rather than suburban block next to busy road. Also the bedding configuration is misleading. It said two bedrooms one with double bed and the other with double bed and bunk beds. My husband was there with his two grown up daughters who had to sleep in the cramped bedroom in bunk beds. It would have been more comfortable if the description was accurate and had double bed. I would not have booked this house if I knew that. Also guests should take all supplies including tea bags as nothing complimentary like that is provided (which is usually the case at holiday stays)
